Agape Home Care staff who are transporting clients in their vehicles and/or running errands on their client’s behalf must ensure that their automobile insurance policy covers work-related transportation services. Please contact your insurance carrier and confirm whether or not your current policy covers such exposure and provide verification for your file (email, fax or drop off a copy to the administrative office). If your current policy does not include such coverage, you will either need to add work-related transportation exposure to your policy OR opt out of providing such services for your clients.
