Flu Vaccines
As you know, cold and flu season is soon to be upon us. Agape Home Care has never required or requested that our staff receive flue vaccinations; however, in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, there are increased concerns for the safety of our vulnerable senior population among those organizations who contract homecare services through our agency, and some have requested that our staff receive a flu vaccine. If you have insurance, flu vaccines are generally covered and can be received at any pharmacy (Walgreens is in every city) and even at Target. Call your local pharmacy and give them your insurance information to see if a flu vaccine is covered (free).
For those who do not have insurance, Agape will cover the cost for flu shots received at COSTCO pharmacy (no membership required): Monday-Friday 10A-8:30PM & Saturday 9:30-6P - the cost is $19.99 and will be refunded to you next payday.
