Tuberculosis (TB) Testing
The State of California requires all caregivers working within the healthcare industry to be tested and cleared for Tuberculosis (TB) every two years. If you have not received a TB clearance within the last two years (or cannot verify clearance), you must make arrangements to do so immediately. If you have a regular physician or clinic that you’re currently associated with, that will likely be the fastest and most affordable rout, especially if your insurance will cover this expense (please confirm if your insurance will cover this when scheduling your TB test appointment). If your insurance will not cover the cost (most should), Agape Home Care will reimburse for the test when you bring the results and receipt into the administrative office.
