PACE TRANSPORTATION PROTOCOLS

Agape staff are only permitted to transport PACE Participants to PACE authorized activities. Mileage expense will only be reimbursed for approved transportation as detailed herein. Transportation services are limited to once weekly and only for the following: groceries and required household cleaning supplies, off campus laundry and pre-approved medical appointments (confirmed by PACE and Agape Management). Weekly shopping must be done at a location nearest to the Participant’s residence (in the same town, if possible) and in the most efficient manner possible when traveling to more than one location. Bulk shopping trips to Costco and WINCO (or outside city limits) are to be planned monthly. Unless approval is granted in advance by PACE and confirmed by Agape Management, PACE does not cover transportation costs for the following: errands, appointments, banking, bill paying, medication pickup, mail service and Post Office, clothing purchases, furniture and household items, beauty and nail salons, social or pleasure outings, family visits, pet supplies or care, hardware stores, restaurants (including fast food and coffee shops). Agape staff are to only claim mileage reimbursement when using their personal vehicles for Participant transportation; recording mileage from the Participant’s residence, to the various locations and returning to the Participant’s residence; detailing on their time sheet the names of each location and purpose for each visit.
